In Case You’ve Been Wondering…

I started this blog back in 2009 and Mr. Blog’s Tepid Ride has been the name since Day One. The Editors and Staff pushed for a different name but I overruled them. I just didn’t feel that it was appropriate to use the F word three times in a title.

But that name, that name, where did we get that name…?

So why “tepid”? It was meant to be ironic (and also to lower expectations) but also a play on the fact that despite being called a “wild ride,” Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride was one of the least wild rides at Disney, suitable for little kids.

True Fact: For the first two years of this blog, not a day went by that I didn’t consider changing the name.
