I come to bury American Chopper, not to praise it.
The evil that men do lives after them;
The good is oft interred with their bones;
So let it be with Teutul.
– William Shakespeare, with additional dialogue by Mr. Blog. (And Sam Taylor.)
Yes it is true, American Chopper ends this week. HOORAY! We’ll throw a wake with a double recap of the two-part four-way Chopper Live Build- Off on starting Monday night, as I live blog the first part, and not ending until Wednesday night rolls in. After that, only one more Weekly Recap is in the works, sort of an entire-series overview next week, and then we can finally bury this monster. Also this week, Allen Keyes checks in with a GREAT post about New York Jet fans. Fireman Ed has quit, who will fill his shoes? Not these real-life duncecaps.
All this, a vampire from Serbia, and more, this week on Mr. Blog’s Tepid Ride.
AND COMING SOON: Christmas Classics!
You can always replace ” American Chopper ” with ” Top Gear “. I’ve seen a few interesting episodes of the series, although I’m NOT REALLY a regular viewer.

I’ve seen a few and it is not a bad show but it has not drawn me in.

Truthfully, I can take it or leave it. They’re just testing certain models of cars for mileage, durability, smoothness of handling, maneuverability, etc. most of the time, anyway.
Isn’t there a Top Gear, USA ?

There was, I don’t think it lasted long, one season I’d say.
