Sneak Peek of the Week of November 4th, 2012

4 Nov

November 4, 2012

Tuesday is election day here in the United States and I already have a headache. I tried early voting and they turned me away. Great, so my vote for Warren G. Harding goes wasted yet again.

It is not business as usual around bmj2k.com. I am going to unveil a new feature this week when I open up my Treasure Chest of Terrible Toys. If you woke up to find this toy in your Christmas stocking you’d trade it in for a lump of coal. That will appear on Saturday, giving Saturday Comics a rest. Don’t worry, Saturday Comics will return the week after. The Treasure Chest of Terrible Toys will be an occassional Saturday featuring giving the comics a breather.

On Monday, in Allen Keyes’ spot, it is… K. Allen? Yeah, I’m washing my hands of that post. Read it and don’t blame me.
On Tuesday, the American Chopper Weekly Rundown features the return of everyone’s favorite finger-painter, Mikey Teutul.
Wednesday and Thursday I’ll keep on the down low since, well, I haven’t written them yet.
Friday will be another impossible Imponderable, and Saturday will be The Treasure Chest.

See you next week!

Sneak Peek of the Week of October 29th, 2012

Hurricane Sandy is due to hit the headquarters of bmj2k.com and The Editors and Staff of Mr. Blog’s Tepid ride urge you PANIC RIGHT NOW! Loot the sneaker stores and stock up on hot iPhones, this is the time to throw caution to the wind and riot because WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!

Although I am very certain that this Frankenstorm will kill me, I have made contingency plans for the website. Assuming you survive the weatherocalypse, beginning Wednesday, bmj2k.com will redirect you to http://www.december212012.com/CDC.htm, the official countdown clock to December 21, 2012. the storm may have gotten me early, but you will be joining me soon.

And if the storm gets me, I’m taking Allan Keyes with me.

Assuming things go on, what will you see on this site?
Allan Keyes will look at Halloween, The Teutuls will clash over their new project, I will share my Memories of Frankenstein, a family puts up a poorly worded Craigslist ad, and of course Saturday Comics. All this, and I WILL SURVIVE SANDY, this week on Mr. Blog’s Tepid Ride.
