Ladies, Gentlemen, and Greblenorts from Feebex 9, The Editors and Staff of Mr. Blog’s Tepid Ride proudly (ha!) present Flash Gordon’s yearly message of holiday greetings, beamed to us from the depths of space using technology roughly equivalent to the radio in a ’57 Chevy. You may have noticed over the years that Flash is not a particularly bright fellow, and this year Flash finds himself confused by some new space customs.

Crazy Captions! 1

I come across a lot of weird images doing this blog. Rather than let them go to waste, I’ve repurposed them.

This is from an old serial, likely Buck Rogers. I stumbled upon it while looking for a New Year’s Flash Gordon image. Buster Crabbe played both Buck and Flash so you find scenes from both in any given search. A guy named “Buster” playing characters called “Buck” and “Flash”? I guess it’s better than his real name, Clarence Linden Crabbe II. You go, Buster.

It looks like they filmed this on a Honeymooners set.
