Overheard While Not At Work

While walking down the street I passed a couple of guys having a conversation. They were mid-thirties, construction worker types.

The first one said “So after I lost my job I was out of work and unemployed! Same time!” The second guy pointed out that those are both the same thing.

I think I understand why the first guy is out of work and unemployed at the same time.

Actually, he was also out of a job, so it’s three things at the same time. How unlucky can a man be?
