Roll ‘n’ Roaster is a lcacl landmark here in Brooklyn. I think the commercial says it all.
That Commercial is. Still. Running.
It has been running FOREVER.
And frankly that isn’t a bad idea, it is nostalgic and highlights how long the place has been around. Good thing that it is so beloved. Try running an ad highlighting how long your local dump has been around.
However, there is one thing that always stands out for me in that ad. Probably you too, I hope.
Yep, it is the sleazy guy dancing with the waitresses. Sooooooo sleazy looking, with a 1970’s pornstache of course. I see that guy and all I think is that he must have died young of an STD.

I was even skinnier, & had even more hair. Now I look like a younger, less evil / relatively un – deranged C. Montgomery Burns !!
