The holidays are over and the long weekend has ended. Time to go back to work. Even Santa Claus has to go back to the North Pole. Here’s Santa, looking a little worse for wear, slinking out of his girlfriend’s apartment by the fire escape, before her husband catches him filling her stockings.

These pictures were taken from the 8th floor of the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital in New York City. Spanish Harlem is an older part of the city, as far from the gleaming skyscrapers of lower Manhattan as you can get, both physically and philosophically. This is far north in the city, just below the George Washington Bridge and looking eastward, over the bulk of the metropolis.
