It is with a great deal of pride that The Editors and Staff of Mr. Blog’s Tepid Ride will today be honoring one of own. This very site’s Jackie “The Jokeman” Polyphemus has today been honored by an arm of the United States government. With no further ado, we turn this stage over to Jokeclops. Take it away, big guy!

Picture Postcard: The Salt Marsh Conservation Center

Yes, this is Brooklyn. All these pictures were taken at Marine Park at the Salt Marsh Conservation Center during a beautiful Sunday afternoon. You would not expect to find a nature trail in Brooklyn, especially not with such clear and clean water. Keep and eye out for the horseshoe crabs. Apparently, this is mating season.
