BATMAN WEEK IS HERE!

All this week Mr. Blog’s Tepid Ride celebrates Batman with all-new features!

MONDAY- Allen Keyes returns. I chained him to his computer until he churned out a Batman post and wow, it is a doozy. Tomorrow we will debut The Batman Sadness Scale and believe me, it is worth the wait.

WEDNESDAY- Remember when police in Michigan found “Batman” hanging from a roof and arrested him? Well he made news again and on Wednesday we’ll revisit the Dark Knight of The Mid-West.

THURSDAY- The Late Night Movie House of Crap gets into the action with a bunch of very funny Batman parodies from around the ‘net.

FRIDAY- Imponderable #64 takes us to Singapore to meet a man who is undeniably the real Batman. He has the paperwork to prove it.

SATURDAY- Saturday Comics looks at a truly great newspaper strip, the Batman daily from the 1940s.

Those of you with a better than kindergarten education may have noticed that I skipped Tuesday. That is the American Chopper Weekly Rundown but I will work in Batman somehow. (I already worked it into the graphic, now I have to work it into the review)

See you soon, same Bat-time, same Bat-url!

To get you in the mood, here are a few classic Batman posts from the past:

The Infamous Case of the Joker’s Boner

Secret Origin of a Superhero

What Happens in Gotham City Stays in Gotham City (AKA Batman Gets Beat Up in Las Vegas)

Late Night Movie House of Crap: Burt Ward Edition

Imponderable #63: Newcastle England

If this does not sound like a Monty Python skit I don’t know what does.

I miss the good of days of graffiti, when “I never wipe” was plastered across my neighborhood.

This is an example of what I always tell people: A good education does not mean you are smart. If this guy had a shred of common sense he would have known he’d get caught. Of course if he had common sense he would not have vandalized the cars to begin with.

Why would a smart university professor be so stupid as to vandalize cars in his own neighborhood with excellent vocabulary words? Especially considering that he has already been outspoken in his opposition to the cars?

The question is Imponderable.
