A new store opened up in my area recently. It’s typical corner place, selling snacks, chips, the usual.
Of course, it does seem rather exclusive, but don’t worry, you don’t need an appointment to get in because, as the sign helpfully points out, walk-ins are welcome.
Reservations are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome too. I am sure they can squeeze you in.
“Hello, Bath Corner Snacks? I would like to schedule an appointment to buy some M+Ms tomorrow. Do you have an opening around 4:00? You say 5:15 is the best you can do? OK, I’ll take it. Excuse me? Why do I need proof of insurance?”

An appointment for snacks? An interesting name too but the scenario by appointment seems to suggest other amenities that are secret.
