How’s that for a sneak peek?

I thought that would wake you up. It is a classic Gil Elvgren painting. Gil was known as The Norman Rockwell of the Pin-ups. Keeping with the Sneak Peek theme here are some of his paintings complete with a sneak peek of the actual models they were based on.

And those were just some of the tamer ones.

Anyway, what’s on tap for Mr. Blog’s Tepid Ride next week?

We continue yesterday’s water fowl theme on Monday with a Donald Duck romance, on Wednesday with a Late Night Movie House of Crap featuring a water fowl, and on Tuesday’s American Chopper recap the OCC crew fouls the water when they travel to Dutch Harbor to do a Deadliest Catch bike. All that plus Saturday Comics and more, next week.

    Looks like another great week, beginning with these pin-up chickies. I knew that Rockwell’s paintings were based on staged photographs, but knew nothing about Elvgren.

      I knew nothing about him either until I googled “sneak peek” and found the bottom image.
