August 8, 2014

There’s a lot of speculation over the hotly anticipated Batman v Superman movie. How badly will Ben Affleck suck? Is this nothing more than a Dark Knight Returns rip-off? Will Kevin Smith ever shut up about this movie?

Luckily, there’s the internet to tell us exactly what’s going on.

With a scoop like that, you need a SPOILER WARNING!

For its awesome journalism, not to mention enviable math skills, I present the 2014 Milestones in Journalistic Excellitude Award to Tanya Diente! (Actually, based on that article, I’m starting to doubt if Batman will be in Batman v Superman.)

17 Oct

October 17, 2013

It’s Superman’s 75th anniversary and DC is bringing the awesome! This is one of the best things you are likely to find on YouTube. You can have your cats, your ducks, your videos of newscaster bloopers, this is an amazing short cartoon paying loving tribute to Superman, from the Fleisher animated shorts, to the George Reeves TV series, and most everything else.

From the creative minds of Zack Snyder (Man of Steel) and Bruce Timm (Superman: The Animated Series) and produced by Warner Bros. Animation, this short follows Superman through the years, from his first appearance on the cover of Action Comics #1 to Henry Cavill in this year’s Man of Steel…all in two minutes!

After watching the short, be sure to check out DC Comics’ official list of annotations: http://www.dccomics.com/blog/2013/10/…
