In honor of Columbus Day, American Chopper has taken the day off. Tonight’s episode is a clip show featuring Mikey and I have no desire to see it so I’m taking the day off too. But unlike them I am going to give you new content tonight.
This story got some play in NYC but you may not have seen it where you live. Early last week Paul Junior and the PJD crew were in Manhattan unveiling a 9/11 Memorial bike. The story can be found here: http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/manhattan/vroom_with_view_mike_on_bike_ie11GEF8Ld5L6Y2wAxt5tN
There isn’t much info online but I did snag a few pictures.
Doesn’t Mayor Bloomberg look natural on that bike?
I have no clue when that will air, but I do have the details of next week’s show, which is all-new.
SILENT TREATMENT
Oct. 17, 2011
In celebration of its 100th anniversary, Dekalb commissions a bike from PJD to be auctioned off with the proceeds going to benefit the American Red Cross. Meanwhile, OCC begins a build for Cell Buckle, a company that builds cell-phone holders for vehicles, to be unveiled at Sturgis. But when a dissatisfied Senior decides they must start from scratch, an offended Jason does the unthinkable.
Man I hope he quits.
PJD is building a bike benefiting the American Red Cross. OCC is building a bike for a cell-phone holder company. Not a cell-phone company, a cell-phone holder company. Maybe it’s just me but taking the 9/11 bike into account, it seems that lately PJD is getting the higher profile gigs.
Enjoy the clip show tonight, I’ll be back next week with an all new Weekly Rundown.
Some of you requested a clean copy of the image I use at the top of the page. Here you go.
