Things have been a little crazy around the Tepid Headquarters lately, what with the giant sinkhole opening up and swallowing grandpa and all, so all I can say is the next week, Keyes will be back with something or other and the Imponderable will find some silly story to mock and there will be either a Terrible Toy or Saturday Comic this week, I don’t know. Picture Postcard? Late Night Movie House? In Search Of? Your guess is as good as mine. Maybe I’ll take requests. Got a request? Who knows, I’m sure I’ll find something to run here next week.

silence!

A CD of silence? I’ve got tons of those. I call them blank CDs.

Is a recording really a recording if the recording is a recording of nothing? How much wood would a woodchuck chuck has nothing on this.

“People sometimes like to sit down and just have a bit of peace and quiet.” True, very true. But I can accomplish the same thing by sitting in a nice quiet room and NOT putting on the CD player. What does a CD of silence add to the aural environment? Even white noise would cancel out other noise. This is, literally, nothing.

So what’s the point?
The question is Imponderable.
