That fat Spider Man is pretty scary.

This got me thinking about Marvel heroes and a post about lesser known Marvel heroes like The Adaptoid might be interesting sometime.

Yeah, good idea. D-Man, the Great Lakes Avengers, lots of material there.

If that scares you, I’ve got a blog ready to go with a lot of really scary things of that sort. Probably run it next Monday. Tomorrow is another Marvel Top Ten.

Why do I have this uneasy feeling in the back of my mind that these might actually become REAL superheroes ? My irony – sense is tingling…..

Nice! “I don’t get it. Is that guy for real or is it just my imagination? “

Zen Koan Man ! He provides his enemies with Zen Koans & unanswerable riddles that puts them into a temporary fugue state.

Captain Gerontology – Has no special abilities, just tells villains to get off of his lawn. & he has a rather unpleasant ” old man ” smell. Uses remote control dentures to attempt to pursue evil – doers.

Nader – Man = Consumer advocate who pursues producers & sellers of inferior or unsafe mass – produced products.

There’s probably more where they came from….. 😉

They were going to go with Fat Guy in Spandex but They Couldn’t decide between that and Fat Guy in a Little Coat…and the idea just got lost…
Also Bill Cosby Bought all the Rights to Captain Pudding Pops and made sure they couldn’t produce it…He was moody that day…
I actually can’t back any of this up…

This is all getting surreal to me. This lot sounds like something that Grant Morrison would think up. I’m marginally familiar with his work.

Anime / Manga Fan Boy / Girl : Drives villains crazy by dressing up as heroes / heroines from aforementioned Genre & talks incessantly about their favorite characters & TV shows / movies ! This has happened to me online on the dA / deviantArt website. Gets annoying….. Anime is ok if taken in moderate to small doses.

Marvel’s put out their share of lame super-villians for sure (see Turner D Century, The Walerus, and The Kangaroo for examle)
