As an aside, Barris was/is a mad man. I read The Game Show King a few summers ago and really enjoyed it. That video just proves how hard he had to work to not look directly at the crowd.

He made that claim in his “unauthorized autobiography” Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. A couple on the Dating Game would win a trip to a foreign country and Chuckie Baby would go along as chaperone, where he would kill someone for the CIA.
