This is to all of you who are complaining about stores being open on Thanksgiving.
Stop it.
Stop blaming the stores. Thousands of people line up hours before the shops open, skipping food, sleep, and basic human comforts just to get a cheap TV. Blame them.
If thousands of people lined up outside of your house and waved money at you, what would you do? You’d open your door and invite them in for coffee. So until people stop sacrificing their humanity for a shot at a bargain on an iPad, leave the stores alone.
Black Friday doesn’t bother me. The answer – Ordering via catalogue & the services of UPS for most of my Christmas shopping. Brown works for me.

ME too. My only problem is that depending on the company you are ordering from, UPS will not provide final delivery, instead they’ll give your package to the post office to deliver, and my local post office sucks. This is a cheaper option UPS offers, called Mail Innovations, and some stores, like Barnes and Noble, pick it to save money. https://bmj2k.com/2014/03/10/united-parcel-service-going-halfway-is-ok-by-us/

no wonder that the postal service is going down the dumper. Hell, most of my communication are done via e – mail, texting, & bulletin board type services. I can’t remember the last time when I licked a stamp or sealed an envelope.

Ditto. I was going to get those Batman stamps a few weeks ago but once I saw them I wasn’t impressed.
