It’s Superman’s 75th anniversary and DC is bringing the awesome! This is one of the best things you are likely to find on YouTube. You can have your cats, your ducks, your videos of newscaster bloopers, this is an amazing short cartoon paying loving tribute to Superman, from the Fleisher animated shorts, to the George Reeves TV series, and most everything else.
From the creative minds of Zack Snyder (Man of Steel) and Bruce Timm (Superman: The Animated Series) and produced by Warner Bros. Animation, this short follows Superman through the years, from his first appearance on the cover of Action Comics #1 to Henry Cavill in this year’s Man of Steel…all in two minutes!
After watching the short, be sure to check out DC Comics’ official list of annotations: http://www.dccomics.com/blog/2013/10/…

Mac, you were the first one I thought of and if you hadn’t commented I was going to shoot you an email. Too bad there is no homage to the radio show or I’d post it on Relic Radio.

Indeed it would have been so great to see him in front of a radio microphone or something, too bad such a relevant chunk of the Superman mythology always gets overlooked 😦
