Heard the expression “don’t take a knife to a gunfight”? Check this out.
“Hey man, I got a bullet! Don’t make me throw it at you!”
I suspect that this does not qualify as armed robbery. And how much cash did he think he would get from a dollar store?
Why would anyone think they could rob a store with simply a bullet?
The question in Imponderable.
And as far as the opening quote goes, here is why you never bring a knife to a gunfight:
No, no, you got him all wrong: he was just playing charade. “It’s a movie” – The answer was “Bite the Bullet”. If she had gotten it right, he would have given her 50 dollars.
(the music here comes from another film, though. If you can tell me, I’ll give you 50 dollars, otherwise I’ll rob you after threatening you with a bullet 😉

I spent quite a bit of time in Dayton and there are a lot of people with names like Verlin and act like him too.
Thanks to Mac for the Bite the Bullet clip. They don’t make them like they used to. It would be interesting to have a post someday about Jan Michael Vincent’s career.

“See Naples and die”… probably of some terrible disease from the piles of garbage that cover every inch of it… what a waste, such a beautiful place. Same for this good actor, with the drinking and the drugs, what a pity 😦 Humanity and individuals will never learn to preserve what precious things they has 😦
