American Chopper: Sr. vs. Jr. Build-Off Aftermath- What do we think of Paul Senior?

12 Jun

June 13, 2011

NOTE:The Discovery Channel does not have any new episodes of American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior listed for at least the next two weeks. The Cadillac Build-Off was not listed as a season finale, and season 1 was twice as long as season 2 has been so far, so I think we can expect it back soon.

CADILLAC BUILD-OFF UPDATE:
“Congratulations Junior on winning the Viewer Poll!”
Discovery.com

These are the stats as of 7pm Sunday:
TEAM SENIOR: 6, 198 members
TEAM JUNIOR: 92, 042 members

Those numbers only tell part of the story. The vote was reset after some fradulent bidding was uncovered. At one point the vote was Senior 9,206 to Junior 227,091. That’s about 96% of the vote for Junior. Whatever the final tally, Senior got smoked by Paulie.

Junior’s bike is better by far, but I am sure that Senior lost a lot of votes because of his personality. So the obvious question is, what do we think of Paul Senior?

We already know the answer. Overwhelmingly, through all the comments left on this site, it is clear that no one is on his side. Generally, feelings range from sadness and pity to laughter to contempt. Senior had a hard life, no doubt.  He battled addiction to become and stay clean and has admitted he wasn’t always there for his sons. Through Mikey we know all the damage he’s done to his family. Mikey is the most hurt, or at least the one who shows it the most. However, while he may have admitted all the pain he caused in the past, Senior refuses to see the damage he is still doing now.

I assume that Senior watches his own show, but I also guess that he doesn’t see anything wrong in what he says or how he acts. That’s too bad. For all that he says he loves his kids, he spends ten times as much effort insulting them and putting them down.

It is unlikely that Senior will ever take a hard look in the mirror and see anything wrong, so in the spirit of an intervention, in the very unlikely event he will ever read or hear of this, I present comments left on the site after last week’s post, the end of the Cadillac Build-Off.

He keeps blaming everybody else for his greed.
MAN UP PAUL SR.

Sr. is an egotistical ass who has nothing good to say about Jr….always belittling him for his own gain
Get a grip and admit that you are the problem.

Sr cares more about his dead dog than his own son and the only thing Sr can build is a f—-d up relationship with his sons.

Paul Sr is such a jackass.
Sr get over it and move on.

Sr is a bitter man destined to be alone…Before he insults his son anymore he should look at his bank account and thank Jr for the designs that made him rich.

maybe it is time for him to admit he may have a problem.

All Senior did when Paul Jr., worked for him was belittle him in front of other employees and make him clean up their coffee cups.

Senior just wants to be greedy and have everyone think he is the sh#* and make all the money. He thinks he is entitled.

I think he is jealous of Jr.’s talent and creativity. I hope he gets therapy.

One day Senior will realize that he is going to die a lonely man, since none of his kids want anything to do with him, for the most part.

I feel Senior has some serious anger management issues

Sr and Jason sneaking into PJD…them cats need a reality check..someone shoulda shot some rock salt at those clowns!

He should get some professional help for his anger

He needs people who will immediately pick up his pencil when he drops it, in order to be secure in the knowledge that he’s the boss. Otherwise he lacks the confidence to be really sure that he is

PAUL SR WANTS A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS SONS BUT REFUSES TO STOP PUTTING THEM DOWN AND GIVES PAUL JR NO CREDIT FOR THE GROWTH OF THE COMPANY

Sr. lost a lot of Votes for being such a ASSHOLE-
-Sad- When a man thinks more of a dead dog than his boys !!

I could go back a lot farther, I’ve been doing this blog for a long time. It wouldn’t change anything. I believe I have only gotten two- yes, two- posts in support of Paul Senior. and they were both written by the same person. Senior is surrounded by people who rely on him for work. They kiss his ass and tell him what he wants to hear. Even worse is the fool Jason, who says that Paul Sr. is like a father to him. The only person who gets comments as bad as Senior? Jason Pohl. Frankly, they deserve each other.

I think Rick (he’s cool) should quit and go work for JR., the other guys can ride the sinking ship to the bottom of the ocean with Senior and that goofy looking kiss hiney designer guy with the jack o lantern face and that dorky laugh can pretend to be Seniors surrogate son while his face keeps gettin loaded up with Seniors poop.

Who wants a bike designed by Jason (kiss ass) Pohl or that midget sycophant – Mike Ammirati.

Anyway don’t get me started on Jason Pohl, I cant stand him, constantly brown nosing senior and then has the nerve to bad mouth junior all the time and act like he was what made OCC today. Need to get a grip to be frank.

cheesy bikes designed by a nerd in a little room with no
talent, except to sucker on to seniors rear

Jason and that baldhead cat whatever his name is are two of the worst brown noses that I’ve ever seen

Keep up the good comments!

There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that senior has trouble with his temper, however this does not give Jr. the right to run down his dad.He is his dad and should be treated with respect regardless of what he does.Personally I feel they would have worked things out had it not been for all the attention from the show. You need to go back and look at all the times before the split that Jr. came to work when he wanted and left as he felt like it with no respect for the bikes being built.Granted,Jr. is good at designing bikes but remember who taught him everything he knows .Jr.owes his dad a lot for teaching him how to do what he does..Jr.get your head out of your butt and make up with your dad before its too damn late. You now have your own shop so there should be no reason that you shouldn’t make up .Also you need to let Mikey make his own mind and not influence him like you do.Remember you are not going to change your dad,so quit being such a butt. Now as for my vote its for senior’s.

First of all, Paul Jr doesn’t run down his dad when you compare the verbal abuse that he takes from senior. we learn to be responsible dependable people from our role models…you are correct in one thing that Jr learned from his dad-any issues he has are because of the terrible childhood he had looking up to a drunk who breaks promises and is completely unreliable. How can you say that he had no respect for the bikes being built? Sr would risk missing a deadline just so he can “be the boss” and order Vinnie to clean up other people’s trash-he even said that cleaning is more important that building bikes so senior is the one who didn’t respect the bike building. And how can someone learn to be creative? That’s the funniest thing i have ever heard. Sr did not “teach” Jr to be creative, creativity is unique to each person and can’t be taught; it is something you are born with…you either have it or you don’t. It drove me nuts how Sr would go nuts on Jr about doing the same thing over and over again, that Jr needs to change things up…well all the bikes i have seen Jr make are all completely different-there might be multiple web bikes but the web is the only repeated thing…Sr’s bikes look the same, same springer front end, same sissy bar, same handlebars, same old school look. Sr can only design old school bikes because they have been done for decades-he has decades of other people’s designs to steal…Jr’s designs things that have never been done before. How can you vote for someone who talks crap about their own child and makes fun of them instead of pointing out Jr’s many many many achievements. Every problem Sr has with Jr are the problems that Sr himself has the worst. He is unoriginal, he only cares about money, he takes the credit of other people…at least Jr designs the bike-Sr does nothing but says that “he” creates better bikes. And another thing, it makes me laugh when Sr or his employees talk crap that Jr can’t work on the engine or deal with the mechanics…who cares, anybody can learn to work on an engine-it’s all black and white, you do the same things with every bike. It’s like math, anybody can learn to add 2+2 because the answer is always going to be 4, but not everyone can learn to write creative stories because every bit of every aspect changes. Anybody in the world can learn to put a bike together(which is obvious because there are mechanics everywhere) but how many successful designers out there? Not many. Paul Jr made OCC what it was and Sr knows that, that is why he is so jealous of his son and that is why he treats Jr the way he does. He is jealous of the fact that Sr worked his whole life and was only mediocre, it took his sons designs to take him to the top and that kills him. If senior had left the company i think it would have gotten better, but when junior left the bikes they made went from amazing works of art to ugly gadgets. Jason stated how he was the one who designed the bikes and Jr would tweak his designs or take them altogether, well if that were the case the bikes would have remained the same after Jr left but they didn’t, they turned into ugly bikes.
Sr needs to seek out therapy because he has no control over his roid rage and it is hurting a lot of people’s lives. Sr supposedly cares about his employees and their families like when he said that Paul sat on his ass for three months and people got laid off because of it but he is so delusional that he forgot that he fired Jr, Jr didn’t just not show up, it was seniors fault that those people had to get laid off. If Sr wouldn’t belittle and mentally abuse Jr on a regular basis I’m sure Jr would have come back, but who would want to work with someone constantly belittling you and making fun of you and your work in front of his peers. you discussed how junior was late a lot and left when he wanted…well sr is lucky jr showed up when he did, there is no way i would show up for work every day if i knew my father was just going to “fabricate” things to yell at me about like taking too long to work on something when every time Sr does something he has to do it twice or have someone else fix it which takes longer than Jr would have. Sr is a sad hypocritical loser that has to lie about his son and make fun of him so that people don’t notice how bad a person he is and how little he contributes to OCC and the bikes they build…sorry Sr but it doesn’t work, we notice how bad a person you are, how illogical you are, and how dishonest you are. It breaks my heart because underneath your pride and stupidity was probably a good person that would be a father to his kids but roids must have killed every bit of sanity you had that could fix the crap you caused. When everyone has the problem with you, maybe you need to realize that the problem might be you. Open your eyes and admit to yourself the truth, you are a bigger hindrance than you are help.
and don’t even get me started about how he treats Mikey…Mikey is one of the most caring positive people i have ever seen and he treats people with respect and puts other people before himself. The qualities that Mikey has are the things that can save this world from being destroyed by greed and disrespect of other people, and that any parent would be proud to see their children have. Does Sr respect Mikey for being the amazing person he is? No he just calls him fat and stupid, making Mikey feel worthless because he can’t play with metal like Sr can. Sr’s perspective is loopy, to him working and welding is more important than treating people with respect and putting others before yourself. It is amazing that Sr’s kids turned out as well as they did, it shows how amazing their mother was to counteract a lot of the disgusting traits that Sr has…i feel so bad for these four that they got stuck with the father they did.
Those who talk the most crap has the most problems so the more Sr talks about Jr and Mikey, the more we all know he is jealous and insecure. The world knows who the real talent is and who the better people are so good luck in the future and i hope your dad can find a good shrink before it’s too late and he bankrupts OCC or causes more turmoil in the lives of people he supposedly loves.
The design makes the bike, and without Jr’s designs the builder’s would have no directions to follow and OCC would just be another bike shop. Anyone can learn to be a mechanic so keep telling yourselves that you are more important if you have to so you can sleep at night but the world knows you are just following the direction of the design. The Cadillac build cleared everything up, but somehow i get the feeling that senior still thinks his bike (Jason’s bike) was better. I wish I could have been there when Sr saw that he lost the bike build off 97% to 3%…i knew Jr was going to win but wow I have never seen a beating that bad. And when Sr spoke about Jr’s bike not representing Cadillac or what they were about at all, that he couldn’t see the correlation between Jr’s bike and the CTS-V…he is insane! Completely crazy! Those comments fit his bike that looked nothing like cadillacs style, but Jr’s bike looked like it was created by Cadillac. It’s like Sr came up with those comments before he saw the bike and said them even though he knew he was lying…either that or he has completely lost his grasp on reality and need an intervention to bring him back to the real world.

You sound perhaps mentally ill.Sounds like you have some “daddy” issues as well. I don’t care about that, I want to see bikes designed.
Senior is a typical old school biker, with very rough edges. He won’t change. Jr Is talented but a lazy bum, who lets others do all the work.

Mikey is a fat, drunk bum. What has he ever accomplished? Nothing. He waddles around with an extra 190 250 pounds strapped around his gut. That boy needs a diet, or he won’t be around much longer. Nobody wants to buy his crappy paintings either. He is a real pile.

          ?????? Say What?

Well I can tell you are a very caring, deep thinking slob of a jerk. You must be Sr. as you sound so much alike. You have all the depth of a mud puddle and are just about as clear.
All you care about bikes huh? I don’t think you know anything about bikes, but I think you know everything about beer, drugs and other poisons for sure. Don’t know what meds you are currently on but I think we all know some that you should be on.

Jr. makes bikes and most all of the people out there like them more than Sr’s bikes. I am not even sure you have even watched the show, as I am not sure they have a braile version for the likes of you as you must be deaf, blind and extremely DUMB.

I have wasted way too much to answer your BS but I know we all wanted to, it is something someone had to do and it might as well be me.

This blog should have started out with “Dummies NOT Welcome”.

Tom Gray you must be out of your mind it sounds like you have or may have had problems with your kids. How can Sr. teach Jr. how to be creative , haven’t you ever heard yhe saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder? why should Jr. settle for being disrespected day and day by Sr.and if Sr. is the man why did he go to Jr. and ask him to come back to save peoples jobs , if Jr.learned everything from dear ole dad then dad should have the creativity to save jobs and if Jr.is not that important to the company why did Sr.go to Jr. who is just one person and ask him to come back and save (the company from bankruptcy)jobs? As for Mikey he’s not stupid he grew up in the same house he knows how Sr. is and he doesn’t need Jr. to make up his mind for him , if you can’t see that Sr. only cares about Sr. then you must be Sr. using the name Tom Gray. Those OCC employees must be pleco catfish and Sr’s ass must be covered in algae , I could never suck up to anyone like that ever i’d rather work at Burger King or pick up bottles and cans than to sell my manhood to another man for any price after all if those guys can weld for Sr. than they can weld for themselves or someone else and if they can truly build then they can build for themselves or for someone else , now does that sound familiar because someone we all know did just that , GO JR.. Sounds like you can’t stand that the better man won GO JR..

Listen Here Sr. You must be Sr. to say some BS like that. If you took your head out of your ass when you were watching the show, IF you watch the show you would see he is INDEED working with his hands along with the other guys building the bikes. AND…. he is the one coming up with the ideas and doing the directing of the entire project. But before you watch the show go and find your brains, and remember it was probably left right where you left it, and it should be in the last place you look. See if you can figure that one out. LOL

And just where does he say POOR ME, I never saw or heard that anywhere at anytime
but you just keep all you Bull Shit in your pocket, you should keep it handy for a real emergency.

If I had to pick a trait that I’d like to possess that might serve me until old age it’s resourcefulness, and Paul Junior has plenty of that. Having the wisdom to “let Nubby loose” as opposed to controlling the creativity of a subcontractor is a critical decision, as is keeping a tight reign on things like the handlebars and gas tank. Junior has come a long, long way from his days of meandering in at any hour he pleases and disrespecting his father in not-so-subtle ways.

The truth is we have a father and son both standing in different spaces, legs locked and arms folded, each demanding respect from the other and not being satisfied. They will never work together again, nor should they. Being respectful of others and earning respect from others are skills that are elusive for these two as they are for some people here.

Michael, you might consider lightening up on people with whom you disagree. They’re more likely to listen to what you have to say and see your viewpoint if you don’t browbeat them.

Well, first of all they were NOT disagreeing with me, they were saying something so stupid and ridiculous that it wasn’t funny. It was patently erroneous and contradicts the facts in such an obtuse way with having nothing to do with perspective or opinion. To say Jr. does nothing and doesn’t even work on the bikes is just plain wrong. Saying that about Sr. well that would be absolutely a fact.

I can indentify with Jr. on many levels and know exactly how he feels. I had a mother who lied to me for 33 years about who my father was and till the day she died she REFUSE to apologize to me. It caused me a lot of grief and harm during my younger years but she really didn’t care she was just selfish and trying to hide the truth to protect her image.

Anyway I love people with vision and theability to take ideas and make them a reality. There are dreamers and there are visionary’s. They both may think about the same thing, but a visionary envisions a way to make it become reality while the dreamer just dreams his life away and doesn’t nothing.

BTW, I just got an email today from Jr’s office, there are away till Tues and then they will be considering an offer of mine. If everything goes as planned they will be building 2 bikes a month for me. Sr. couldn’t pay me to take one of his bikes. LOL I don’t have a fireplace in Florida which to burn them up in.

Anyway thanks for the concern but those kinds of people never listen to anyone anyway, I said what I said to the edification of others and for others that do listen or pay attention. That guy I responded to, if his brains were money he wouldn’t have enough to pay attention anyway.

              Take care,

              Michael W.

The fact is that to build the kind of bikes that are being built, on either side of the fence, in the time frame they are being built, does in fact take a team to build them. No one person could do it alone. If you had any knowledge whatsoever about what it takes to build them, you would not have made the statements you made.

Clearly you sure sound like you work for OCC..! Sure Sr. is his dad and should get his son’s respect, but here is where people get confused. outside OCC it was a family relationship thus Sr. could demand anything from Jr. and expect to be respected. Once inside OCC as a paid employee Jr. deserved to be treated and respected as any other employee. Not to mention he owned 20% of that company.

Second, what exactly did Sr. teach Jr.? What skills? I’m a fan of the show and have never seen Sr. practicing his “superior” skills. You only see him acting as he’s actually doing something on camera for a few minutes at a time. He brags of how he did this or that but even on an old school choppers (which he should know from head to toe if he really knew all he claims) he’s lost. Sr. can never do a single job by himself and doesn’t even know his own tools or machinery. Even on head to head builds with Jr. inside OCC, Sr. didn’t work all that much and in every case he and his team ended up loosing to Jr’s designs…

      To Tom Gray
Are you watching the same show? Before the split neither one had much respect for each other. After the fact Jr. has not said 1 bad word about Sr. While Sr. NEVER shuts his repulsive mouth. OCC was started by Sr. but he owes it’s success to JR. Something he has never done is given his own son the respect for that fact. Sr. also hasn’t built a bike in years, his crew does all the work then he presents the bike and goes look what “I” built. Jr. hasn’t pushed Mikey in any way with Sr. He just hears what he has to say and supports Mikeys choice whatever it is. Sr. has ruined the relationship between ALL his sons. Both Jr. and Mikey have taken the high road and have been VERY respectfull. What has Sr. done, tried to bribe an employee a $1000 to quit. What an ass he is, and so are you for disregarding all hes done to PJD.

And your vote’s for Seniors too? Surprise. Wow. I bet you have mistreated and alienated folks in your own life, and therefore you identify and empathize with Senior. But you actually think Senior’s bike deserved a win? Are you blind and deaf as well as dumb? Hah!

I know this is waay late. But what a clown. Totally not in touch with reality. Junior learned basics that he’d learn anywhere from anybody, and anything he owed his dad has been repaid a thousand times in design and in class. “Make up with your dad..?” … Senior is the only one who has to get his head out of his butt dude… and to expect Jr. to “let it go” is to say “go kiss his butt, since that’s the only way he’ll accept you – on his warped terms”.

      You are a fool.

JUNIOR should, NOW, leave this show. And start his own – with Discovery or someone else. THEN we’ll see how long Senior’s show lasts, with the garbage he and his team put out.

Junior – put your foot down and quit putting dollars in that mean old man’s pockets. You’re better on your own, clearly. I know it’s a certainty that the PTB think the drama between you two, competition whatever, adds to the shows numbers, so that isn’t going to happen. I just can’t stand seeing that ungrateful old fart in perpetual denial about himself, you and everything else. And I know he’s your dad and it’s gotta be rough to hear others dis’ing him, even in defense of you. So, sorry for that.

Boy are you off in left field.

Creativity can never be put in a box or setup with a bunch of rules and conditions etc. It will quash his creativity. He is not a business man and all he needs is a business manager to run his place on a business level (which he may already have) and he should stick to what he knows best. If you spread him too thin he will be a great businessman who will be out of business since his creative self will diminish due to the rules, conditions and other businesses like responsibilities that just don’t allow people to think in a creative form or fashion. You cannot teach creativity. I know this for many reasons, I am one of those people and I don’t like paying bills, worrying about them etc. I get the work done and do what I do best and I let those other things be taken care of by others who are good at those things but who are NOT the creative person behind the money making aspects.

When something is working you leave it alone, if it isn’t broke don’t fix it. Delegate, if necessary, things to others but don’t mess with Jr’s creativity, just leave him the heck alone. His mind is just fine in-spite of his father’s help. I am totally surprised Jr. isn’t a drugged out alcoholic due to his father so Go Jr Go!

It’s obvious to everyone that Paul Sr. visibly hates his son. His jealousy in every show since the start.Pauly had the insight his father lacks. Many times paul Jr. would point out things that would cheapen the customers bike, all Sr. would say”I don’t care, just get it done!”. Thats his attitude. he has to take shots at Paul Jr. every chance he gets!
Jim Quinn, your a scum bag. This jerk off is the one who put the idea of the second lawsuit in Sr”s head. Sr. is too consumed with jealousy not to see it! Jim Quinn, Mike the other ahole do what they can to keep Paul Sr. besides sucking up to keep the hated between Sr. and Jr.!
Paul Sr. is no father. Pauly should just realise he has no father and move on.Paul Jr. has proven to be a good businessman, and talent hands down. His business is built on good charisma in the shop and creativity among his team. OCC is based on suck ass two faced aholes, with one exception,
Paul jr. has proved to everyone He is the innovater, better builder period! Junior has NEVER taken cheap shots at his dad, where as Sr, just can’t stop blaming him for everything. Basically he wanted to destroy his own son! Mikey had given his father a chance to reconsile in a san way…of course Sr. is too self centered to see it,or his ego would not allow it.

        I AGREE WITH YOU TOTALLY

The real reason Sr. won’t go to a psychologist with Mickey is he is totally afraid someone with some credentials mike accuse him of being what he truly is. Or even worse get him to REALIZE it and have to face the facts he is a total jerk/ahole. Yeah shove it in his face and make him FACE up to it – IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE WORLD. Something his ego would not be able to survive. Well guys you have heard of the Antivenom bike? Well I think Jr. was thinking of his father when he built that one. His father is full of venom against him and like any well mannered snake is trying to BITE him. Jr. has NEVER lost a contest against his father (to my knowledge) and that must stick in Sr.’s craw really bad due to his ego problem. Maybe he should build an Anti Sr Bike LOL But I think all the bikes he has built had that in mind.

        OCD all the way

I am annoyed by the Tuetels’ false humility and graciousness toward veterans, children, and the handicapped. I mean, they suddenly go into “this is what it’s all about” mode toward complete strangers, yet they can’t/won’t do the same toward their own family. Senior is the worst. He’s about as two-faced as they come, and he’s stupid enough to do it on camera.

Got to hand it to Paul Junior. Since the breakup he’s changed his ways (less selfish now) and he has resisted climbing into the gutter with his father. Senior belittles his sons in so many ways that I don’t see how that family will ever have a comfortable moment again. I’m especially bothered by that silly glee-look Senior gets on his face whenever he can find anything negative to say about his son.

Ironically, he will have a harder time making up with Mikey, with whom he has had fewer differences. Senior has painted the picture of his youngest child as completely under the spell of his brother and incapable of making his own decisions. That is an insult.

As much as what goes on in the family is a train wreck, I admit that i’m drawn to it.

Well I really agree with what you have said.

It gets me really bad when I see them go all out for total strangers but have a hard time being nice with their own family. He made a big deal out of giving Jr. the one bike he actually worked on. The Web bike that became a part of the settlement, come on give me a break.

“Got to hand it to Paul Junior. Since the breakup he’s changed his ways (less selfish now) and he has resisted climbing into the gutter with his father.”, come on he just climbed out of the gutter working for his father, why would he want to go back in? LOL

And it is NEVER what you do but WHY you do it, how much of what SR. does is to make him look good? How much of it is just for TV? Well none of the so called good works makes him any better in my book.

“Ironically, he will have a harder time making up with Mikey, with whom he has had fewer differences. Senior has painted the picture of his youngest child as completely under the spell of his brother and incapable of making his own decisions. That is an insult.” And I agree big time, but the real problem is Mikey knows a whole lot more of what has gone on than we do, the stuff that is on the cutting room floor Mikey knows and we don’t. Mikey has a hard time making up with his father cause he knows he SHOULD NOT trust his father, because he changes all the time.

Keep it up all, I like this forum.

Just curious as to what episode you watched Jr ran down his dad when he was not defending himself from the belittling from his own father. You talk about respect but since the split I have not heard one positive word from Sr. If you had Sr for a father who was a drunk while you were growing and never constantly belittled you would you respect him? I know I would not. I agree Jr was lazy at times and did come in late a lot and in that aspect he took advantage of the fact that it was his fathers company he worked for and have to admit I would have considered firing my own son if he did the same. Either respect is given where it is earned and Sr has clearly not earned it from Jr.

I am a father of three sons and two daughters. Two of my sons have a child each, whom I’m never seen – and they live nearby. I would do anything to have them all in my life as a family, but I don’t see that happening. As a father, Sr. should be able to look past his grief with Jr. and appreciate that the boy has talent. No fancy computer-assisted design, yet he outbuilds Sr. Where does Sr. think that ambition came from? I see the good things in my two, distant boys; I just don’t like who they are right now. I hope that Sr. and Jr. can mend the hurt between them. I wish I could with my boys! Sr. and I are the same age – time goes by! Good luck to them all! Batman

Jason Pohl , Hmmmmm , if my daughter came home with something like that I would be really upset. That guy is the nerdiest , geekiest jerk that i’ve seen in a long time and he wants to fit in so bad it’s rediculious and if he is looking for a father figure in Sr. that shows you what he knows , jr. should have tapped him in the mouth along time ago to put him in his place. If my parents owned a business and I’m part owner and you talk to me the way that Jason talks to Jr. there is gonna some furniture moving and alot of it. HE WOULD DEFINITELY HAVE TO GO ASAP.

From day one Senior belittled Jr. and he still puts him down saying he can’t build a bike and Vinnie and the others do all the work. Well he’s finally been proven wrong. I watched some episodes of the first two seasons recently and I suggest Senior should watch them too. Jr. not only designed bikes he was the one and only fabricator when they started, two talents Senior doesn’t have. Junior taught Vinnie how to fabricate. Junior stayed late to finish projects to meet deadlines. Jr. designed the OCC logo and should get royalties for it. He had bad representation when he signed his contract with his Dad. Of course you don’t want to believe your Dad is going to screw you one day. The first Venom bike is Juniors along with several others that Senior has kept and when Cody left, Senior kept the bike they built together. Senior would still be building bikes in his basement if his son hadn’t lent him his talent. He wouldn’t have his great house, his acreage, his muscle cars etc. I am glad to see Junior succeed and I do hope Senior wakes up one morning and realizes how envious and bitter he is. Then there’s Mikey. The poor guy just wants his family to be whole again. At least their mother is a stable, loving, supportive Mom. I noticed another thing in the old episodes. Senior only had a couple of tattoos, now he’s full of them. He’s a lot bigger too. I’m guessing steroids and that’s why he’s so edgy. I worked with a guy on roids and he was Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Last comment: I also read from a reliable source that his wife is the sole beneficiary. Don’t know if its true but I wouldn’t be surprised

I like this guys comment. He a seems to have a pretty good head. I agree with his observation and of the hole situation.
Jr. is much like the designers of any large organization and his job is to design not just be in by 7:00am and out by 6:00pm and do all of the physical work. Having the ability to design new bikes all of the time is a true talent and in most cases more difficult than doing the physical work. any one can learn to weld or bend metal. I am sure that the designers at Cidallac work all year to come up with new designes. It takes them an entire year to come up with five or six new designs My vote is for Jr. and I feel like seinor should retire and become a dog walker.

There’s certainly plenty of blame to go around here. First, there’s Paul Tuetel Sr, who should understand (but doesn’t) that children of alcoholics generally have trouble with completing projects and making decisions. And Senior doesn’t have a clue about he creative process, thinking all you have to do is bolt an insignia onto a stock motorcycle and you have a “theme bike.”

But his son, Paul Junior, fails to understand what his father needs. He want respect and for people to have structure, and Junior’s blatant disreguard for those principles sets the stage for conflict.

Mikey is the classic class clown. Funny, creative, but also a non-producer. It always amazed me that his father let him completely goof off one moment, then stormed into the shop and ripped everyone else for leaving coffee cups on the bike lift. Mikey will eventually come around, but he probably needs to bottom out. His current job is “professional personality.”

Of all these characters, Vinny is my favorite. He works hard, puts up with crap, and is fairly diplomatic about how he deals with people. I absolutely can’t stand Jason Puhl, who is about as far removed from motorcycles as a Yugo sedan.

In the end, they’ll all survive. JRD will make better theme bikes and be a good small shop, and OCC will make money because it’s a manufacturing facility.

Oh wait, it may have been when he call them “those four dumb f**ks” referring to a photo that included Jr’s wife….. or wait, can’t be emotionally honest with his sons, but losses it over his dog….oh well. Jr is sure not going to be a perfect human being, however his behavior is consistently more honorable than his fathers.

Sorry Fred Sr’s bike in no way shape or form can compete with Jr’s. As for the pipes that’s where the creative part comes in after all you have to remember that it is still a motorcycle not a car , point blank Jr’s design is far superior. Sr doesn’t even build the bikes because he doesn’t have the patience , he comes out for a few minutes turns a few screws makes a mess of everything then goes back into the office and puts his feet up on the desk. did you see the craftsman episode when the front blade was rubbing and he just left it as it was and Jr was dead set on fixing it but left it alone to avoid a argument with Sr , now if that bike was being built for you would you have wanted Sr to leave that blade rubbing the way it was I don’t think so and that shows the difference in the two builders. PAUL SR. DOES NOT GIVE A DAMN even when a customer is paying large amounts of money for a bike , I said it before all he wants to do is rush bikes out the door as quick as possible , and thats one reason why he lost the build – off because he was more focused on finishing before Jr. did. I’m surprised he didn’t put one of those stupid sissy poles on the Caddy bike with some 60’s paint job. Believe me when I tell you Sr. knows that he could never out build Jr. bike for bike or man to man.

Hey Bmj2k, a blind vote would have been the same result, a little closer. Sr. lost alot of votes just based on his rep. And that idiot Mike M., Sr. told him that if they win he gets the car. The truth is, the Cadillac build was Paul Junior versus Jason Puhl, and that’s where things went wrong for OCC. The vote was, absolutely, more a comment about hatred for what Senior stands for than it was about the designs.

Might be interesting to re-introduce these two bikes down the road after the emotion of the moment has passed and see which one wins a new vote. My bet it still goes to the JRD model, but not by much.

See there is a certain point when people need to realize that REALITY tv is not REALITY.. Yes SR is a A$$ ill admit that. But i find it hard to beleive that this argument does not benefit both financially. All talent aside and who is best out of the picture. Both SR and JR are not reinventing the wheel in any way with there builds. Both bikes that were built were great looking bikes. It really bothered me that the word TECHNOLOGY kept being used. Neother team did or has done nothing that cant be found in any magazine on the shelf right now. The fact” for me is from the begining the show was a hit because of the arguing. The” Opinon. In my eyes there ship was sinking after there 10 season (what ever number towards the end) this is and was what saved the show. If they reconcile whats left? More custom bikes with no drama.. If thats what people want maybe a magazine is what they need…

I believe the reason the season would have been over if they hadn’t separated is that no one wanted to see Sr. the big ass bully just abusing his kids the way he was. What makes the show more interesting to ME, and I suspect others, is seeing Jr. make Sr. eat crow. According to Sr. Jr is nothing and wouldn’t amount to a hill of beans (I am saying it nicely) if he went on his own.
Well Jr. is doing quite well on his own, in spite of his fathers support (I use that word loosely) and everyone is getting off on that, everyone like to cheer for the underdog. I currently like watching the show to see Jr. make Sr. eat crow and I really hopes Sr. goes out of business. He is not a poor example of a father, he is a terrible joke of one and a poor excuse for a human being alone a father. Waste of air and time. Unfortunately for us all he is not just the only one like him, I wish he was unique but he isn’t and that makes for a nasty world.

How does a father constantly talk to his brown noser employees about what a scumbag his son Paulie is, he constantly puts him down behind his back, makes fun of him and then let’s his employees talk bad about Jr. also, what kind of a father would permit others from bashing his own son? He aint no father, he’s just an egotistical old man, takes credit for all the bike builds, always the one riding out onto the stage & talks like an idiot when explaining how the bike was built. Can anyone tell me if there was one bike worth noting that “HE” ever designed? Jason is the guy that now designs his bikes, for which he again is right there to take all the credit for. Well, I have agreed with most everything on this site except for the idiots that don’t know motorcycles or the show. I swear some of them must be Sr and his fools trodding around looking to boost their image. LOL Not possible. I know more so of what Jr has gone through than most, and Jr was never poking at his dad, he was trying to show some spine cause it isn’t easy to have one with your father beating on you all the time. His self esteem has been trashed so much by his dad, I am glad he has done what he has done to survive. Technology is made of all kinds of things, even a hammer is a technology. And anyone could build a bike like Jr IF he had brains and some vision, but sorrily most do not have this, not even his father. I was a Cadillac person for many years, owned many of them and his bike Jr’s hit the mark dead on. Cadillac was never about speed and/or performance it was always about the looks and comfort first, and to get a bike that has the feel of a Cadillac was not an easy thing. It wasn’t one thing, it was so many things tied together that made it come out that way, and it was due to vision out of his own mind, not a computer, that allowed him to create it. I knew he was going to win before he picked up the first tool. It never was a contest as Sr never had a chance to win, as he and his freaky tool (as Sr called him once “The drawer”) couldn’t design himself out of a wet paper bag. I was happy when his old place was blown down, couldn’t happen to a better guy. LOL He is nothing but a liar, cryer, and back biter. I watch the show every day it is on, even have it on at my business. I believe Sr was on some kind of drugs and ROIDS would explain it for sure. I do not believe the anger and fighting is done for the show, I do believe that show business preys on things like this though. I also would like to comment that the reason that SR took his dogs death so badly is that his dog was the only one that really would put up with him. He lost his only friend, now that is a sad story but true. He wanted respecdt from his kid, he should have given him something to respect, like a respectful father. Causing someone to give birth to you is not a basis of respect. People are born all the time due to mistakes people make. I know I was one of them. I don’t respect my father, cause I really don’t know who he is. Respect is something you earn, and JR has earned the respect of his father but never got, and his father is just plain mean, nasty and jealous of his son’s talent. I hear that Rick is going to quit and go to work for Jr. That makes me very happy. I really think that what this show needs to crank up the ratings would be a funeral – that would do it, and just guess who should star in that episode? Sr is just a big bad bag of wind which should go totally flat and blow away. One day I will own one of Jr’s bikes, I have my own business, actually 2 of them, and no one in my so called family is proud of me, they are all jealous. The last time I heard from anyone of my family was to borrow some money. Love is such a great thing isn’t it?

The bottom line is Jr beat Sr by a million miles, and Jason the fool should just crawl under a rock and hide along with his pseudo father.

Thanks for letting me post, I needed to get some of this out there.

All of you people need to wake up, this is TV!….if the folks at Discovery didn’t find ways to entertain you people with the bickering between Sr, and Jr. there would not be a show….in all reality these two are father and son!…Anyway, if you really look at the bikes that they build, who really would want a ugly art bike anyway….I wouldn’t, So quit arguring between one another about who did what and just be entertained!

Sr, & Jr. are business men….and if they can keep the ratings up and keep people watching the show, the more money they make!….it a no-brainer. They are not stupid people they wouldn’t have made it this far if they were and if they were really mad at one another, do you think this show would continue?…..Discovery writes the plot and tells Sr. & Jr. what to do next. and one more thing, why is Mikey having problems with his dad?…Sr. and him never had anything going on between them, until Jr. decided to make it on his own….think about it Sr. has always had a good relationship with Mikey….this is just another twist that Discovery gets people to watch….also if you were paying attention why would Rick quit a job where he has tme and tenure to go and start over with Jr. …… another ploy of Discovery!

It probably isn’t real string pulling(i.e scripted), its the stress of the show, If you actually watch the show closely, you notice that the editors are obviously taking little remarks ( ” I’m going to tell Sr. I’m going to quit.” -Rick), something that was said in a joking manner, because he wanted to f with his boss, and they made that the entire trailer for the episode. If you don’t think that Jr and Sr could really be acting that way, you give humans in general WAAAAY too much credit, especially “celebrities”. They have become massively self involved and prideful because of the success of the show. Obviously, this isn’t necessarily true, although that given that each show takes probably around 100 hours of filming to make, i really doubt the entire ‘cast’ of the show could keep up the charade. I suppose it could be a conspiracy theory-esque puppet show, and they are all really actors, AND THEY ARE WEARING MASKS! ( If you saw the episode where they were filming their cameo in My Name Is Earl, you notice they are REALLY bad actors btw..i mean like junior high school production of Romeo and Juliet bad… BAAAD! ) it would probably look more like the Hills, but the cutting and everything does make it all look a bit ridiculous, constant fights and drama, but that just means that 1% of their lives are full of drama.. 1 hour out of 100 for each show.. so…

I have a degree in Psychology and am laying off a year before doing my graduate studies. I currently, due to family issues not unlike Paul Jr, I am instensely studying Cluster B personality disorders. Cluster B is a Narcissistic personality cluster and includes Sociopaths and Pyschopaths as well as Borderline, Narcissitic and Histrionic Personality Disorders. I would invite the author to do an analysis and see if the behavior of Paul Sr. is not characteristic of a Sociopath (a mood-driven Psychopath, otherwise Psychopaths are focused and do not falter in ther destructive agendas) or at least a Narcissistic Personality Disorder person. Sociopaths are not like in the movies, there are everyday Sociopaths – they thrive on ego-centricty and humilation of others. Their ultimate desire is willing victim, they are paranoid, any moments of charm they may have is manufactured to impress people. They feel completely self-entitled and don’t care who they step on to get a leg up. They have an air of superiority and have an “all or none”/”black and white” way of thinking. There is a predisposition towards narcotic usage. They have higher testosterone levels and upper body strength in many cases). And most of all they will lresist therapy, therapy will do no good except to help them suppress their symptoms and o take it underground and continue their agenda covertly. They do not have friends per se, but rather thuggush underlings like the bald guy that is always agreeing and kissing paulk Sr’s butt. They fear exposure. There are more traits, but that is the core. I believe your well-written coverage of the dynamics of Paul Sr. shows all of these traits. We should all feel sorry for his new wife as noone knows what goes on behind closd doors. I urge the author to do his own research and on Cluster B personality disorders and I am sure that he will come to the same conclusion.

Actuallym i should have added that estrangement from children is extremely high in Cluster B narcissistic personality disorders. It is a “disorder” if it last from age 18 onward and is hallmarked by unstable relationships. Once children are adult, they literally owe thewir lives to the narcissistic parent and the parent is insatiable as far as getting recognition, gradititude and even alife’s enduture (like working for the family business). They often envy theri children or say that their skills came from the narcissitic parent. Paul Jr. is a natural and his abilities have eclipsed his father’s. I am simply saying that all of this behavior is predictable and accounted for in Cluster B personality disorder known traits. Even Dr. Drew has admitted doing psych profiules on reality shows to include on shows like MTV’s “The Real Life” and choosingf personality disordered people that will predictably clash with other types. It makes for highly dramatic television as we can see. American Chopper just happened naturally – maybe.

All i know about Jr’s addictions was the photo of him holding a draft beer and looking fat-faced and smashed, so maybe just alcohol? And Mikey admitted to having a drinking problem, but it’s likely that male “baby of the family”, will experiment with more substances and have a less clear direction to head in as an adult. they find themselves last pretty often, but they can be such characters as people and be uninhibited. They party lasts longer for the youngest male in the family. And the oldest child in the family holds a grudge against them as the oldest is the most inhibited and the “straight man” of the family and has the most discipline (aka, the oldest son that owns the ironworks company, though not sure how he is with Mikey, one more brother refuses to be filmed I have heard). But ACOA (Adult Children of Alcoholics) tend to have substance issues because alcohol was a normalized form of coping in their during their formative years. Some say that it is genetics, but it is more “monkey see, moneky do” accounts for why children whose parents were alcoholics do drink. Although, there is a genetic element of a lack of self-control and addictive natures as witnessed more in the way all the teutel men love destruction of vehicles, buildings.and a mob rule with violent episodes. I think Mikey would have been far less lost in life if the shaow never came along. The show accented his brother’s gift and his father’s rage against being eclipsec by Jr. and Mikey was just a big joke who got paid to make people laugh. Mikey was a clown not be taken seriously. As jr. honed his art instead of drinking, mikey played the “sad clown”. Those are his words and support all of the general underlying psychological dynamics. Mikey has no way to comparitively be recognized…and his dad comments on how grossly overweight Mikey has become as Mikey’s belly hangs over the tank of a motorcycle recently made by Jr. in a press photo ridiculing him in absence.

Instead of being happy He give his son a chance we all wish we could give our children. it jut eats hiss ass.

            Alan,

That last part about eating his ass that Jr. does well with the opportuunity that Sr. forged th way for him -in part. There would be no show if it were us watching Sr. build bikes alone. Indian Larry and those guys on biker build Off are worth watching as far as bike building talent-wise. Jr. took ti to a whole new design level and made the show possible. Jr. doesn’t even like to rise hard and he admits that. Bikes are for looking at mostly to him I feel., But back to Cluster B personalities, you nailed it. it eats his ass because Cluster B (narcissists) take credit for what their children do in life. They often say “he got his skill from me” and they directly compete with their kids. One a female narcissist scale, these types steal their daughter’s boyfriends and the like an ddivert any praise or good looks of the daughter back on to herself. This form of child rearing tends to cause an identiy crisis in the children of these Cluster B types, as we are seeing in Mikey perhaps. Mikey can’t be an internationally reknowned bike designer like his brother Jr., and he can’t be a CEO of an Ironworks company like the other brother and I believe a fourth brother is an accountant who will not be filmed or mentioned in the show and is long estranged form Sr. a well. I am just saying that Sr. fits into cluster b personality disorder set very well…not roid rage alone. there is alot more than rage going on here.

The Paulie/Sr stuff makes the show, but when you add in his lousy relationships with the sons we don’t see (and a daughter, I think, right?) then it shows that no matter what you blame Paulie for- even if it is all true and he is all to blame- Senior has problems that go beyond the show.

I decided to Google “Paul Sr. Narcissistic personality Disorder” which is a Cluster B disorder. All Cluser B Disorders are Axis II which means that it is lifelong. But I found a comment of an adult child of a Narcissist Personality Disordered person and he writes this:

“I wish I would have heard the diagnosis “Narcissistic Personality Disorder” much sooner than I did. After 27 yrs of working on a relationship with a loved one exactly like Paul Sr., I finally accepted the fact it would never be different. I hope Paul Jr. has been advised that his Father has a big bad case of NPD and this is as good as it gets. Best of luck Paul Jr. Live is too short to waste any more time thinking your Dad will change. It’s not your fault. Do some research on NPD and you will breathe a huge sigh of relief!!!!!”

Jason ! you’ll be needing a new design program, try one that wipes your lips after Sr stops by. and Sr wants to start doing things old style, because he is to stupid and knows nothing about the tools he paid a forchune for. including that computer that is making a job for you, since you cant evan draw in 3D. and sooner than later, you will run out of the same styles, that you’ll use over and over, because SR has to OK it, so you cando your little dance in circles out in the shop singing see what I did !! And Rick get the hell out of there, where you still have respect over at PJD.

Just think of the ratings when Sr. goes postal and starts throwing things at his employees and kills a few of them. Then he takes out his gun and blows away the rest. Talk about ratings out the roof. I agree he has REAL SERIOUS emotional problems. And althought I don’t think he will kill himself, one of his anger tantrums might end up killing someone. If he loses this show and his business he might do himself in rather than deal with the shame.

There are 2 pills that I know will help Paul Sr. one is called the Mike Tyson uppercut and the other is called the Felix Trinidad left hook , like Jay-Z said lean ’em alittle past six. He is always playing the tough guy role and trying to intimidate someone , in this day and when someone will take your life in a heartbeat he better start thinking twice before saying the wrong thing to someone or getting in someone’s face. To be honest at this point in his life a nice ass whooping might help him or even save his life. It doesn’t seem to me that he had one of those old fashioned Grandmothers or Grandfathers like mine that would light that ass up in a hot second if you got out of line. You can tell without him saying it that he had a very wreckless youth without much discipline because he has very little respect for people. I feel bad for Mikey more than anybody because you can tell that he really loves his father but how can you have a relationship with your father when he is constantly dogging your brother , unless you have no love for that brother , Mikey is struggling with family problems ,alcohol and trying to find his nitch , now that’s a rock and a hard place!!!! I look at Paul Sr’s house and I wonder how in the hell can you have all that money and the ability to do whatever and go wherever you want and still have that much drama in your life , I guess it’s true that money can’t buy you happiness but i would damn sure like to give it a try! Sr. if you read this maybe it’s time to retire and let someone else run the business because the stress of it all is clearly wearing on your health and it will eventually kill if you don’t get your ducks in a row. wish you the best K1. P.S. You still need that ass whooping.

All of his belongings and his cars and bike collections are just monuments to himself. They feed his ego. His employees are hand-picked to feed his ego. Narcissists don’t have friends, they have underlings and under-thugs on the payroll. Sr. has used his employees like Jason and Lee and others to keep the drama aimed at antagonizing Jr. As much as it seems like an ass-whooping might fix it, this stuff is largely fully determined by age 7. And Sr. acts childish right? That is called “emotional arrested development”. Narcissists do not share the limelight well at all. They hate to be one-upped. They will never admit that they need therapy or have flaws. Thaey are ego-centric, selfish, self-centered assholes and it is a lifelong disorder is you are diagnosed with it. Sr. refuses to go get diagnoses. narcissists fear Exposure that they are a certified asshole and there is no fix for it. Bullying is also a sign. He’s a bully.

I wholeheartedly agree, a good ass kicking might do him a world of good, and REALLY it does sometime. I once was acosted by a young Sr. on the beach (I am not young by any means) I was fishing on a dock and he was sun bathing on the dock. I wasn’t putting him in any harm but he got up and in my face, popped some buttons on my shirt…was making a real scene…I started to walk away not wanting to escalate it, but then turned around and kicked his butt, got him in a sissors hold and a choke hold such he couldn’t breathe at all. There was a crowd gathering, a nice big one in fact, they were all telling me not to kill him. I asked him a question “how long have you been an asshole” and then I let him breathe enough to answer, he said and I quote “A long time”. I let him up he apologized, then said he would buy me another shirt. A week or so passed and in the mail (I had given him my address) he sent me a new shirt. So it proves that sometimes a good ass kicking does stop stupid attitudes from escalating. I don’t think he picked on any older people anymore, I am sure I surprised him big time. LOL Money can’t buy happiness but it sure can pay for some doctors visits, like to a good psychologist. But he thinks he is so smart he doesn’t need help. He should drown in his river of DENIAL. Everytime I see him I want to deck him and I am sure I am not the only one. And please NOTE: When they are destroying the door to his office and many other things over and over, it shows his love for destruction, and he has destroyed his family. What he does he does very well, to bad it is all about destruction.

At this time I think it would take several butt kickings to get it through his thick head he isn’t the end all to everythng. He should have got his ass kicked many years ago and maybe he might have learned something, just like the young guy I had to teach a lesson.

    Keep it going all.

    HELLO ALL A NEW ANGLE

Well I just watched tonight’s 10 top fights and I have come to a conclusion. Although SR. has given up drugs and alcohol for 27 years he has gone to a substitute. Adrenaline is a powerful drug and people get addicted to it in a big way. I thought that his anger/fights were the result of ROID RAGE but I now think that is how he gets his adrenaline fix and how come he much have some kind of fight quite often. Maybe it is a combination of both ROID RAGE and adrenaline fixes but he acts like someone who is addicted to some kind of powerful drug and he cannot control himself. I saw JR. sitting quietly and trying to talk normally and SR. just went totally nuts and screaming etc. That is NOT normal in any sense of the word.

I was thinking along those lines too. I didn’t pay much attention to the top 10 show because it seemed like they were simply trying to repair Senior’s image. I think the last two week’s were little more than p.r. for Senior. Anyway, when they showed the graphic that said that Senior had been sober for over twenty years, I said no way. Maybe he doesn’t do drugs or drink anymore but he is not sober.

I personally wouldn’t want The Rickster , Brendon is doing just fine. (Senior IS Psyco) I agree with your comments about Sr. but he still needs to get put on his back no matter how you cut it. Sr. is a BULLY and I have never seen anyone reason with a BULLY because it’s there way or no way and they want you to understand that even if they have to draw blood to get their point across. I agree that the Gears of War Bike was super great. And it will be hard to top but I really liked the Cadillac Bike, I would like to buy it for myself. I am strongly considering commissioning a bike by Jr. for my company. I am into computers and would like a real special computerized chopper with some real neat features I have in mind. Next year I will probably work hard making that happen. Sr. couldn’t pay me to build my bike, I just have grown to hate him so freaking much I can’t stand to even see him anymore. Seeking pity when a person has Narcissistic Personality Disorder, which I belive Sr. has at a minimum, has sociopathic elements. Sociopaths are in the same psychiatric Cluster as Narcissistic personality Disorder. Sr. has a lazy eye, or he would like the limelight more and he does not speak well as we all can hear. But none of that prevents him from having this intense and destructive personality disorder. According to the APA, in order to have Narcissistic Personality Disorder, you only need 5 of the following criteria and to a lasting, destructive effect. It is an Axis II disorder which means that it is lifelong. No ass-whipping cure it; it will only remanifest itself in say, suing people form a distance when they are not close enough to yell at and dominate.

According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV-TR), a patient must exhibit five or more of the following traits in order to be diagnosed with NPD:

          •grandiose sense of self-importance
•preoccupation with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
•belief that he or she is “special” and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
          •need for excessive admiration
          •sense of entitlement
•takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
          •lack of empathy
•envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her
          •arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes

He IS NOT and HAS NOT been a father to his sons and you would know that if you had read the posts and viewed the show for any length of time. You are just like Sr. Open mouth stick in both feet and maybe down the road you might think about what you have said.

I’m looking forward to this weeks episode when Jason tosses the bike off of the lift , Jason has been getting carried away for some time now , I guess he thinks that he is part owner of the company. This episode we all get to meet Jason Teutel. Who in the hell does he think he is and I want to see how Paul Sr. handles this. He better get right in his face and call him all types of A**holes and he should fire him , after all that’s what he did to Jr. right? Well we will see! This is the type of atmosphere that Paul Sr. creates explosive , egotistical behavior , well he created this monster now lets see how he controls it. Since SENIOR IS PSYCHO doesn’t believe that a A** Whooping is what Sr. needs maybe we can give it to Jason. M.Wayne if you decide to have that bike built let us know so we can keep a eye open.

Oh I have decided to get the bike built, just a question of when I put together all the funding for it, I have several things coming together soon that should make that possible. I am figuring $150k, but will try to get a more definite figure from Jr. one day soon. Tried one day but couldn’t get through.

And remember when Mr. Sess Pool crashed and then crashed his computer, and chopped up his keyboard with an axe? I loved that episode. He is as bad as Sr. I guess something is rubbing off on him. LOL

Birds of a feather shit together or something like that. LOL

      Hello Again,

This is some real NEWS and I am not kidding this time. I had a phone conversation yesterday with someone who might come in an partner a big project of mine. It sounds really good right now and I don’t expect any problems but if things work out like they should I will be ordering a minimum of 4 bikes a month from Jr. SERIOUSLY! Along with several others for charity on an ongoing basis. I also will make Rick an offer he can’t refuse to go to work with Jr. In truth I am going to try to contract with Jr. for ALL HIS WORK and give him a lot of poetic license. I will let him run free.

The vehicle I will be using is a NON Gambling site of my own creation and if you want to know more about it just go to http://purepokerskill.com/

I am NOT trying to solicit on here guys just informing you that I might be in a position to really skunk Sr. soon and give him a major poke in the kisser. The website info is just to back up what I am saying to you.

I have some very personal reasons of my own to KO Sr. and I would love to put him out of business and make him look really bad while doing it. Or should i say make him look really bad BEFORE he puts himself out of business.

We will be giving away a bike a week on the Poker Site and doing continual auctions for various charities. I will be using Jr. as a way to advertise our site and most probably be his only sponsor if I get my way – eventually not necessarily at the start of things.

And I don’t want to use a DRAWER to make them either. LOL

I am feeling pretty good about now and just wanted to share with you guys.

I am NOT into blogging at all really but this site is really nice and I have really liked the content.

Thanks all (except the few who are nuts)

I don’t believe what I saw , I’m not surprised but I still don’t believe what I saw. I told you Jason Teutel!!! How in the hell does he throw a bike off of the lift with a motor , a tranny , a frontend and a wheel and doesn’t get yelled at , doesn’t get sent home , doesn’t get docked or nothing , ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Vinny was alot more important to the company than Jason and he was sent home for having a dirty work station , ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Mikey was sent home for having a argument with Steve , ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHAT LITTLE RESPECT THAT I HAD FOR SENIOR(AND IT WAS VERY LITTLE)IS COMPLETELY GONE!!!!!! This guy is garbage , you scream at Paulie for coming late , you scream at Paulie foe talking on the phone , you scream at Paulie for taking too long with a design , you scream at Paulie for breathing to many times in one hour but you let this clown toss a bike off of the lift like it’s his company with total disregard for company property and total disregard for other peoples work , Rick is right he should’ve gotten punched inthe head!!! I don’t think Rick is gonna renew his contract there , if he does he’s crazy , I rather take a pay cut than to work with those clowns. Here are the facts , Senior can’t blow up at those guys because he needs them more than they need him , these guys have used OCC to develop their talents and now they can move on to other places , he’s gotten rid of his family , his blood and surrounded himself with people that only care about a paycheck and you can tell that they don’t care about him because if they did they would try to help iron things out with his family but instead they pour fuel on the fire by making jokes about Paulie and Mikey. WHAT A IDIOT!!! How do you stand there and let your employees make fun of your children , even if you do it they should be afraid to say one word about your family without knowing that there is going to be a problem. Senior you made your bed now you wallow in it!!! The day is gonna come when you will see just how much you need your family , right now you think that your money and your company is all that you need but your gonna find out different and your gonna have the surprise of your life when it happens.

      I agree with you BUT…

I think this was one of those setups. I think Sr. is trying to improve his image
and trying to show that he isn’t a big blow hard. For the first time in the whole
show I think Sr. and Pool the Tool got together and conspired to do this.

I thought something was strange when Sr. was saying that it wasn’t up to par etc and in the end very little was changed. When something don’t smell right
there is usually something rotten in the pile. Sr. was way too calm throughout
the whole thing, and I have said it before he is a bad actor, actually worse than he is a father.

You might be 100% right but either way he looks like a knucklehead whether it was staged or not. If he is trying to improve his image he should have blown up at his son like he did Paulie and made it look like he’s a equal opportunity A**hole. I don’t think that we’ll have to worry about him to much longer the ROIDS are catching up to him look at his eyes , in a matter of two years he looks like he aged 13 years.

He Hasn’t Aged At All !!!!

I do believed it was staged but he was choosing the lessor of two evils. No matter which way he went he was going to look like an jerk/asshole etc. But he choose to go the way
he would look less of a jerk/asshole NOW. This way he can still blame his OLD behavior
on his SON who (according to him) knew how to PUSH ALL HIS BUTTONS.

And for what you are seeing it isn’t AGE it is the UGLINESS of his true self just shinning
through. I have met some beautiful women in the past that on the outside looked very nice but once you got to know them they started to look very ugly, and it was because
I got to see them for who they REALLY WERE, it is a psychological/spiritual view of them
that overwhelms the outward appearance. This really happens, so he was always ugly like this, you just never got a clear view of him.

But thanks for the response I liked it.

And I do think IF he was being himself and this wasn’t a put on for the public, he not have only fired Pool, he would have thrown him out the door. Or at least thrown something at him like he did with Jr. He made a bigger stink when the place wasn’t cleaned up than he did when Pool through the dumb ass looking bike off the stand. I didn’t really like the bike anyway.

You’re giving Puhl a lot of credit for acting talent. That guy is pretty shallow and transparent, and I don’t think he could have faked the childish behavior. Yes, Senior might have deliberately disliked the design just to show people that he actually has a role in the creative process, but I doubt the event was scripted.

I also picked up on Rick’s mention that motorcycles can’t be designed on paper, specifically by a moron who doesn’t have a clue about how those machines work.

Well thanks for he response bit a little known fact you are not aware of, Pool the Fool has been taking acting lessons, and I thought it was a horrible acting job anyway, I didn’t believe any of it, it was too phoney to me, smelled like dead fish. For Sr. to not blow his top over dumping a custom bike was beyond my comprehension on a normal Sr. mode, the only way I could see him NOT blowing up was he wanted this to happen and it was planned. And by the way folks I was told today by someone at the Jrs camp that it is NOT money that is keeping Rick from going over to Jrs side. I am going to see if I can find out what is really going on behind the scenes with regards to this, but I have to be real careful due to a huge business deal I am working on which may involve (I hope it will) Jr and his Choppers. I have to send out an over view of my plans for Jr. to review next week. If he likes what I am doing then things will be a go. I really want Rick to work for Jr. If there is any way I can make it happen I will but I am starting to think there are contracts behind the scenes keeping certain things from happening. Money is a very powerful motivator and when he likes Jr. anyway ….it makes me really wonder how the show alters peoples choices on this show.

          Well thanks again………

    HEY WHAT IF???

Hey what if he had fired Pool the Tool, who would have been the new DRAWER? LOL

I can see Sr. really having to design the bikes, now that would be funny wouldn’t it?

I remember when Sr. told Pool he was the Drawer…LOL, Pool wasn’t happy with that WORD, so it must have been a bad IDEAR. The bad grammer on that show is something pitiful. I like Rick, but when I hear him say “maybe they will LEARN us something” I cringed. He really has never got TAUGHT that it is TEACH US SOMETHING not LEARN US SOMETHING. He says it so much geesh, someone should tell him.

Rick wouldn’t be the new DRAWER, he says he likes it better when the DON’T use cut and paste from the idiot Pool, and make the bikes the way THEY USED TO, (referring to when Jr. was there).

Maybe he could get Micky bad to do the drawing. LOL

I see you caught that when Rick said that he didn’t like to create bikes from (the Drawer)drawings and I agree with the ugliness coming through , now it looks like Mike Kissassaloti is gonna show his ass in the next episode , Jr. said that he was gonna run that company into the ground and your starting to see everything unravel. If the last episode was staged Rick must not have known about it by his response and he didn’t appear to be acting. The cameras are rolling and the egos are growing. Between Rick , Mike and Pohl (Pool , Fool) however you spell it I can see something happening eventually. I don’t know if I like the bike that Jr. is building now I would have to see the finished product but I have to give him credit for creating different designs , after all I’m not paying the customer is. After the Gears of War bike he has to keep the level of creativity high.

I work in the creative process for a design firm. I also do paintings as well. There is nothing like a blank canvas, in the Jrs case, a chosen frame. You get in mind what colors you are going to start with, in my day job, it is company colors and their brand. I just feel that it is so limiting to draw a 3D object and then build it. Building bikes is an environment where it’s more like sculpting or like aorking with clay. And there is no reputable clay artist or scuptor that will give you a drawing upfront – you take what you commission them to design and deliver. Can you imagine someone commissioning you to write a song and they want the lyrics upfront? It’s the same principles, The creative process in song writing is building off of the line above. In sculpture, it is maybe making and unintended line and following that quirk all of the way through to the finished product. Maybe it is charicature or abstract or actual proportion that you complete the sculpture in. The point is that a person or company should always want to defer to a reputable artist. When a non-artistic corporate client designs the bike, they look stupid. Sr has clients where corporate lawyers, CFO (accountants) and CEO (staff management) who hav a company that makes things like “bird shockers” who mediate the design and I would say that their input hampers the creativity alllowance. I think Sr needs to see drawings because he is not a creative thinker. Meanwhile, Jr has no limits except time constraints. he even puts tinsel on the tree by adding last minute stuff that makes a huge differnce each time. It add balance if nothing else. He uses space very well…3d drawings do not give you a feel of the bike’s use of actual space and balance, nor obstacles. A lot of the bikes can’t be built as drawn, such as exhaust will burn the driver. He has knocked it out of the park and I cannot point to any bikes that are designed by him that are stoopid UNLESS THE CLIENT DEMANDED INPUT. Sr and that stoopid corm harvester/combine front end reverse trike (right after JR delivers a mind-blowing trike), it just shows in what a bad way corporations can spend their money. those combine harvesters have a square rear end chute that angles up spits out shelled corn into a metal wagon with tall sides. The exhaust should have emulated that if the front was to look like a combine/harvester and maybe put a trailer behind it for logo placement. they could have had the real exhaust terminate under the trike and had some kind of “endless fountain” that circulates corn form the fake exhaust chute and the trailer fed it back to be shot out of the chute in a recirculating manner. Otherwise, Sr just slapped a really dumb looking mock harvester front end on a trike. I would have used a storbought trike and boxed it in like a cool harvester. Sr. missed 60% of the details of that build and it would have at least made sense. Jr. rules. Sr. NEVER thought he would have this kind of compeition and Jr. has won because he has not only a new company and good reputation, but a TV show right out of the gate. He is getting 150K per build. Earlier episodes, either Sr. or Jr. said “when a clien pays you 50K-55K for a bike they are expecting it to be perfect.” The last show the clients said Jr. wanted 150K to build a bike for them..so he must be getting that kind of money. Not every bike, but Gear of War I am sure he got that. the gency that I work for easily gets six figures for a new product launch design just for the internet usage. I bet OCC never got 150K for a build except when auctioned bikes brought that or they bought it back themselves. What you cant imagine is how much money everyone on the show gets in TV royaties, even for replays. It is based on how much you are 1) on screen, 2) talking on screen 3) on screen alone or as a main focus individual. Believe it or not, but the jingle while people are writing on Jeopardy pays the song rights owner over a 1M bucks to date. Merv Griffin owns those rights to that jingle. So Joan jet gets paid for the “Bad Reputation song each time it airs too. JR. has seed money for his company through these royaties I assume. I am sure they are huge. They are gettig actor’s royaties essentially. It was all setup for actors, but reality TV participants are getting rich off of the pre-establish handling of royaties. My firm has composers that write music for commericals and they demand o retain these royaty rights for when the commercials air. The free credit report guys are likely filthy rich from those commercials.

I Agree With You Very Much

I am in business but I am a writer and a poet. One of the problems with Sr. is that he is an emotional leech. He feeds off of everyone around him. I wrote a poem about such people, maybe you might like it.

          A REAL TRUE FRIEND

I have given a lot of thought
          To relationships and other things
That relate to two people being involved
And to the feelings that it brings.

A foundation is the most important part
And I am sure with that you will agree
For if you don’t have a sound foundation
What is built won’t always be.

          And what everyone wants
Is something that will forever last.
That will heal the hurt and sufferings
That happened so much in the past.

So one must learn from the mistakes
That caused all of the pain.
Or they will be destined to suffer
It all over and over again.

It helps when you have two people
With hearts and minds the same
          With thoughts and needs akin
That feel all excuses are lame.

For there is no excuse to rob someone
Of their heart and feelings so much
That they almost have nothing left to give
And become afraid to feel or touch.

That can make a loving and giving person
Become a shadow of what they were
Leaving them just an empty shell
With no feelings or emotions to stir.

Yes there are those people in this world
That take and don’t ever give
Emotional leaches that drain off your life
          Although they will never live.

They know how to use you so
And they admit you are too good
Yet they drain you dry and watch you die
Because they do not do what they should.

The secret to love is to give all you got
Into a circle without an end.
The circle is someone who knows this too
And is a real true friend.

The truth is that Senior does not understand the essence of the creative process, especially the way his son goes about it. He wants to see progress, and if it isn’t bolted to the frame, he assumes nothing has been done. That’s the crux of the conflict.

Well, actually there’s an additional problem: Senior’s fucked up.

I don’t think Sr. was adding anything to a great bike, he just wanted some IDEAR of his on the bike so he could say he did something and Jr. knew this straight up. Jr. wanted to do something all by himself to prove a point to his father but as usual it fell on deaf ears. Sr. is deaf, dumb and blind pure and simple when it comes to his kids.

BIG SCOOP ON THE SHOW POOP

Hey everyone I just got the real scoop on the poop about OCC. Well you know that Junior
actually designed the OCC logo. Well Sr. doesn’t like it cause it IS NOT ALL HIS IDEAR.
So in considering all of the various options Sr. wanted, the show directors suggested that it should reflect more of what Sr. is all about than Jr. So far the best IDEAR Sr. has come up with is renaming his business to OCD. It is actually perfect for a host of reasons. Now they will say it stands for Orange County Designs (trying NOT to be just a chopper shop) which is more the truth the way things are going and is a take off of PJD (Paul Junior Designs) but we all know what OCD really stands for don’t we? Obsessive Compulsive Disorder……..now if that name doesn’t fit Sr. nothing every will. I vote for the OCD how about you guys?????

For a guy who has gone through a 12-Step program he sure doesn’t understand why his children aren’t happy being around him. If he really wanted a relationship with his sons, he’d do whatever it took to do it, including meeting with a counselor as a third party. Doesn’t he see that they don’t trust him (and this doesn’t have anything to do with motorcycles or the television show) and shouldn’t?

Since the big fight that led to Junior’s firing — long overdue, by the way — his deliberate, open actions have been quite offensive (symbolically crashing an effigy of his son, the lawsuits, hiring anyone who is willing to kiss his backside) but the more destructive behavior is the constant belittling of anything to do with Paul Junior Designs: the gleeful smile whenever anything negative can be gleaned; the “he doesn’t even like motorcycles” statements; the “he’s a lazy primadonna” line. Even if these things were true, no father should say that about his son and expect no repercussions. Paul Senior is waaaaaaay out of touch. He needs help.

He’s a self-serving, manipulative, self-destructive, angry man. Sure, there’s an empty place in his son’s lives without a father, but it was a pretty empty place when he was there.

Why are you afraid to say it? The “horse bike” was a piece of shit! If anything, it Seriously underscores Jason Puhl’s (and this also applies to PTS) inability to understand “theme bikes” and that it more difficult than decorating a Christmas tree!

Paulie is an artist and a visionary, Mikey has overcome an ass of a Dad and dysfunctional family to become an artist in his own right (even if I don’t like his art), Vinnie is a pure inventive mechanic… Sr. is jealous and manipulative and just a sour, small man. He sued his older son (Danny) into bankruptcy at O C Ironworks, then sued Jr.to take back the 20% after Jr earned both of them. The rep that OCC had for quality bikes went bye bye with JR., Jason is an intern that learned how to use a CAD system and then talks bull about real designers like Paulie. Black Widow, Firebike, Jay Leno Bike, Gears of War, Cadillac… Reindeer Christmas bike, Sunny (my little sister can make a better bike than that!), MIA bike, Cadillac… now guess which ones were made by an artist and a visionary mechanic and which were funded by a megalomanic that had employees and expensive tools. There is no argument, just Sr’s words bouncing off a real man. I say even Jesse James tired designs will kick Sr’s butt.

On the “aftershow” Jesse says the original A.C. was offered to him and he turned it down (uh huh)… then OCC grew from it and now Paulie has blossomed into a renowned mechanical artist (I know, I sound like I love his works, and I do. nice stuff, staged or not. I ride an old Harley Springer so he has altered my influences for sure) and Jesse has dropped off the radar with his Sandra crap and now Kat Von D. (like that is going to last, is she an idiot or what) so he says he approached Discovery to do the build-off. I believe it, he needs SOMETHING to get his name back out there. Everybody wants there 15 mins.. Sr. will ride anybody at this point. Paulie was very reluctant from the get go and was finally convinced, he’s the only one that doesn’t need the fakery.

Are you guys watching the three-way biker buildoff, on Discovery right now? Wow, three wonderful machines. My thoughts:

3rd Place– OCC’s three-wheeled futuristic tracked vehicle is absolutely mind-blowing and wonderful to look at, but it’s NOT a motorcycle. Yes, it’s the best work that Paul Teutel Sr’s crew has ever done, but where can you go on it and what can you do with it? It will show well at bike events, but that’s about it. It’s a beautiful, state-of-the-art trailer queen.

2nd Place– Jessie James classic no-nonsense chopper is as beautiful as any classic machine I’ve ever seen. I love the red paint, I love the beautiful wheels (narrow in the back is good) and the mechanicals are as good as they get. I did notice that he was having a degree of difficulty seeing over the handlebars and headlight, so there’s a minor degree of impracticality to it, but who said classic choppers were practical? On any other build, this one would win, hands down.

1st Place– Paul Junior continues to push the envelope, and I’m glad he didn’t bend to the pressure to build a bike in any manner differently than he always has. This P-38 Mustang theme doesn’t really look that much like the fighter plane that inspires it, but as a road machine it is over-the-top amazing. I love the copper, aluminum, and nickel, and the “landing gear” suspension is scary-good. I give PJD the edge here, but only by a red pubic hair.

My brother was late alot, Dads a hardass, I think I worked the most hours. Dad made the most money, my Bro screwed off the most. I ended up with a huge resentment over time, & it comes out in huge amounts over small problems,”making things even worse”!! Before you know it it seems like your enemies. If you are a good person, a good parent? You will always take the high road for your kids.
Sr’s behavior has nothing to do with the kids… he is a sober drunk, that yells, abuses, degrades, and blames his kids for all his problems.

I can’t believe you state comments like this… It just shows you are out to lunch like Sr

Jr & Mike deserve a lot of credit… they have had a poor role model for a father.
As you can see by the way they turned out, the mother did really well. Now hopefully they can be a better person to their kids.

Sr has an ego that wont quit. His dreams of grandeur can be seen in that building. For years we have watched him sleep , and run the shop. Build bikes to be proud of, to generate business, he left that up to others. Encourage, praise, give bonuses, not at all. Running a business, his lowest achievement. Who would not panic when their breadwinner got sick of their shit. Not crap about work, but personal jabs, and he knew he was being filmed. Wishing ill to happen, blowing someone up and crashing that bike and laughing, how can we care about him. You know, I always had one question for him, why the hell didnt you give a senior citizen or a young kid a job cleaning up the coffee cups and sweeping up. It sure would have made a difference. The show where he wanted to send Vinnie home showed what insanity was there. People have let OCC know that they wont come there, they mean it. The public is their business, or should I say what business if they keep going like this?
So take your steroids, you look like hell, buy a few more cars or animals. Find a friend. Thru this whole show we have never seen a buddy or friend? Maybe you are afraid to give some time or effort to even have one.
Cant be proud of what you used to be, cant be proud of what you are now, some legacy.

Sr. is just full of himself and he couldn’t pay me to have Pool the Fool design a bike for me. Right now and I am not kidding I have a proposal in Jr.’s shop for 2 bikes a month, suppose to hear back something after this coming Tues as they are still out of town. I pity the poor fool that has Pool design there bike, unless they want an overgrown toaster. LOL That is what I called their last so called bike for the build off. Boy what a total joke.

This show American Chopper is a joke. I watch it sometimes to see if its real at all. This build off with the 2 Tetuls and Jesse james. What a joke. All the bikes were not that great. the crowd actually booed most of them. yet not much was said of that. The band Bush who played sucked. years ago they were good. But the Tetuls just doing this for the money. Yah the old man Sr. is a hot headed a wipe for sure. Jr. well he tries but is really weak in many ways. Mikey should shed about 130 lbs and act like a man. Its true though,
the tetuls just build theme bikes. Never anything original from the get go. without a theme or picture they would be lost and it shows. Someone and the tetuls made alot of money out of this show . I hope the show is dis continued forever. Plus The Tutels do not do all the work on thier bikes. they sub out most of it . Hell a 6 yrs could do what they do. if you trained him. Pathetic this show is. Id be ashamed to show my face of I was any of these idiots who are on it. sad we stoop so low.

mikey… well he is a gem. turn up late every day cos he was off his head on booze, sleep in the office instead of doing any work, walk around and disturb others from doing their work and now some kind of art gallery with similar paintings than what a toddler can do a better job of. only things mikey should do is lose a lot of weight and get off his tush and do some work. waste of space.
to be honest if i was senior i wouldnt even bother trying to contact his sons. in my will i would leave the business to rick (rick is cool as they come), leave his money to charity and give his sons a pair of his well worn underpants each.

I’ll just say this: Every real deal wildly successful business owner that I know or have met to date would not 1) worship and dominate a forum on Sr. & Jr., 2) Want to make a “sky’s the limit”, attorney-drafted bet with someone over an “opinion” which really is designed much like an online poker bluff, 3) they didn’t get successful by calling everyone IDIOTS and STUPID as well as scrutinize everyone’s grammar or spelling, 4) while owning so many businesses and not having time for said STUPID IDIOTS, manages to have the time to dominate a forum talking a reality TV show. Successful people do not need to demean or SHOUT to be heard effectively – we tend to find this in people with inferiority complexes.

Answer me this: If you have a request for quote into PJD; what does the letter of acknowledging your request say above Paul Jr’s signature? I mean where people put “Sincerely” or “Respectfully”…what phrase does paul Jr. use on his quote acknowledgement (also on his “decline to quote”) letters that PJD sends out? Since day one, everyone gets this correspondence. This is something that Paul learned and adopted in a small business workshop. You have multiple businesses, I am sure that you know that formal and repetitive contact with a new client is general professionalism, but contact is good. You may see them again later, so you handle the client professionally. So, what is the word or phrase above his signature on your letter?

Lastly, you are not into fact, you reside within this forum commenting with your opinions here, on, of all things, a reality TV show where you see 42 minutes (not ever per week on average) of these people’s lives. You do not KNOW the Teutel family.

LOL, again you show how out of touch you are with reality. I NEVER said I had anything from him directly. He has a business manager which handles things directly. I have talked with him on the phone several times and upon his request sent a proposal to HIM. Then they got real busy with a trip regarding something, don’t remember what, he apologized for not getting back to me sooner but it is what it is. I have been waiting “as I said” for a response with regards to my proposal and have not heard back yet. You make a call to his group and you will see you just don’t get to have him pick up the phone.

You are the one that is CALLIN”me”out, I will answer LOL but my time is money. People who make up names like yours and similar things are just big blow hards that are TRYING to dominate the conversation, and put up $1,000 (if you even have that, much with my attorney) and then I will prove anything you want, but you WILL pay for my time.

Now since you have NOTHING of interest to me, and have offered no communication of any value, good or bad. How about you just go craw off into your hole and leave me alone. I am not trying to dominate this blog, I just joined in, and have said mostly what others have said. This blog is pretty much dead, and if you are what is going to keep it alive then it is truly hopeless.

I have become a success in what ever I have done by KNOWING my business and being the best at it and by NOT wasting my time with BSers and IDIOTS like you. I have great customers because I pick and choose when, where, and with whom I am going to spend my time with.

Now unless you request my attorney’s phone number address etc and are prepared to send a measley $1000 in esgrow (just in case I can’t prove what I have said) and just think, if I CAN’T
prove what I have said you will get $1000 also. BTW I am not a gambler are you?

So you are NOT calling me out, I am calling you out and I am betting you are not going to make any call what so ever. LOL

Hey here is on free tibbit. His name is Joseph Puliafico and he is a REAL person who works for PJD, and I don’t think you for real at all.

I never said I had a deal with them, just said I would make an offer to them, which I have, and it was a great deal as for as I can see, but it if doesn’t fit in with the show, or the powers that be don’t want to go in that direction I can’t do a thing about it but be disappointed.

Yes, Im defending Senior and so what. Before someone calls me Sr. in disguise, if you’re smart you’ll know from my grammar that I’m not a New Yorker.

You’re all jumping on the PJD bandwagon. When he worked for his father, look at his work ethic, he was an arrogant ass that thought of himself. He is creative but so are a lot of people. The only difference with Jr. is that he had financial ability (because of Sr.) and free reign to develop his creativity. Senior built his business from the ground up but Junior definitely had a pretty good head start and doubt he’d have the ability to do so on his own if he never had a show. I’m not a family psychologist so I’m not gonna pass judgement so harshly like all of you saints have done. It is a popularity contest and Junior knows it. Do we really know whats going on? I’m gonna say no.
Oh and before someone says it, do I think Senior has a better work ethic? I’d say yes. He did own and Iron company and started building bikes way before there was even a show. He’s now a successful business man that has made his children financially stable despite their fall-out. Call it what you will but think about it a little harder, we’re talking about grown adults that can think for themselves, besides Mikey who is just an immature mess of a man.

I would have tried to avoid my father just like him if I was in the same position. His work ethics have not changed not one bit, he just is now working for himself and his team which appreciate him and he enjoys it more and not having to deal with his idiot father makes it easier for him to work longer.

He never thought of himself, just tried to avoid the conflicts and if you really watched the show you would see that very clearly.

You think you know so much and all you know is attitude. Get real. LOL All some people know is how to put their feet into their own mouth.

I think Sr rocks. People need to take a better look at this stuff before making comments. If you watch every episode starting with the pilots, you will see that Sr knows and respects the talents of Jr. And in the pilots, Sr says its all from the fruits of his labor that started it all, which is true. Jr then says he knows Sr has earned the right to do what he does. They both know. So just because you dont see it in all episodes dont give anyone the right to say who is bad or good. Its still a tv show. And a good one at that.

For those of you who call Jr lazy I doubt you watched the first season when Jr says he puts in 60-70 hours a week and Sr even admitted his son puts in that amount of time and Jr even says some nights he worked 24 hours straight. Sure he was late sometimes he was late sometimes but cut some slack that’s a lot of hours and also he worked the weekends. He only had one day off in the week and he normally worked that day too. That’s not lazy people that a hard worker who would be given slack by any other company. Jr should have sued his dad on based on labor laws and the fact his dad (the boss) was herrassing him (the employee). Then after PJD was formed I would have sued OCC for slander and defamation with all the bad mouthing they did about jr and for actions they did like dressing a dummy up like Jr and putting it a motorcycle and purposely wrecking. The problem with Sr is the manager he hired wanted jr out of the picture from the moment he was hired and srhd listened to him without sticking up for neither of his sons. Sr is a pathetic looser I hope he goes bankrupt to teach him some humility.

I agree with everything you said, times 100. Sr. is a bad joke looking to improve his image and I just don’t think that is possible, well not in this lifetime anyway. LOL

You people need to get over your selves. Senior did not insult and belittle Jr. all the time and half the time Jr. deserved it. You can’t bitch out Sr. for gettin pissed at Jr. who was under contract to be on time and work and yet he was late waay more than on time, he constantly took break when it wasn’t time, he would constantly be sittin on his ass when he was suposed to be workin and would his dads head every time he got shit for it. It wasn’t his company, but he acted lile it was. To the moron sayin Jr. made Sr. rich… Jr. helped him stay rich. Sr. all ready had the business. Now i’m not sayin Sr. is a saint. Constantly bitchin people out, needed to get out of the office and build bikes more, needed to realize some bikes take longer. Jr. & Sr. needed to learn how to take there arguments away from every one and cameras. They both have egos too bigg to fit through a door. Jr.’s designs deffinately kept mad money in his dads pockets, but Sr. made it possible for Jr. to do so. Wo says Pauly would bewhere he is now if Paul didn’t have him workin for him? Get a clue people. It Sr. & Jr. are just as bad as the other. Stop throwin Sr. in a hole and leavin Jr. on a tropical island.

When Jr worked for OCC he was lazy, came in late, left early, was messy, and had a hair trigger. That made him a bad employee.

Senior badmouthed his son to anyone who would listen, including fans who showed up to visit the shop, Donald Trump when he was on the Apprentice, and even a lousy nasty kid like Odie. Never mind how much he let others like Jason make fun of Junior. That makes Senior a lousy human being.

There’s the difference. It is one thing to be a bad employee or a bad boss- or even a bad son or father- and another thing to talk trash about your own son to anyone willing to listen. Junior perfect? No. But he is a lot better than Senior.

They made it clear on the buildoff this week that they were struggling in a small space when a film company approached them wanting to do a pilot. junior then designed the web bike and the 9/11 bike and built them with zero help from Sr. you have to realize that they were playing with the money fronted form Discovery Channel and the business that came in for that exposure that really gave them opportunity. Jr’s design ability was the real catalyst that allowed things to go to the next level. in my opinion, Srs bikes, like the reigndeerbike and the dumb horsehead bike designs are so far inferior to junior and he has a team of 20 guys under roof. Jr can do more with Vinnie and the guy he flys in to build tanks and himself than his father can do with a 5 million dollar building.

I see Sr’s custom bikes selling used for 18,000 with 187 miles on them..they must not be find to drive or something. You cant buy a stock Harley for 18,000.oo. Junior is selling 6 figure bikes.

And to the point the point of taking breaks…man, in a salaried position, white collar world, no one tells you when to take a break and you can drift in an out on flex time as long as you get your work done. Sr is old school and controlling. You see things working well at PJD without SR…not so well at OCC period. ..
